About the job Instructional Designer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Instructional Designer to develop engaging, effective, and learner-centered training programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating instructional materials that support organizational learning and performance goals. This role requires strong expertise in learning design methodologies and the ability to translate complex information into clear, impactful learning experiences in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop instructional content for eLearning, virtual training, and blended learning programs

Conduct needs assessments to identify learning objectives and performance gaps

Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and validate materials

Create storyboards, scripts, and course materials aligned with learning objectives

Develop interactive learning experiences using authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate)

Apply instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to guide course development

Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and analytics

Maintain and update existing training materials to ensure relevance and accuracy

Ensure content aligns with accessibility and compliance standards

Manage multiple projects and timelines effectively

Required Qualifications

Must be currently residing in the United States

Valid U.S. work authorization (citizen, permanent resident, or authorized work permit holder)

Proven experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role

Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theories

Experience with eLearning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills

Strong organizational and project management abilities

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

Degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field

Experience with multimedia tools (video editing, graphic design)

Familiarity with SCORM/xAPI standards

Experience designing training for technical or corporate environments

Relevant certifications in instructional design or eLearning development

Work Environment
