The Data & AI Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data-driven and AI-powered solutions to drive business insights, automation, and operational efficiency. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to build predictive models, analyze large datasets, and deliver actionable recommendations. The position requires strong technical expertise, analytical thinking, and the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

This position is strictly open to candidates who currently reside in the United States and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. Applications from individuals residing outside the United States will be rejected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain AI and machine learning models to support business initiatives

  • Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources

  • Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with business, engineering, and product teams to identify AI-driven solutions

  • Evaluate, test, and deploy AI algorithms and models using industry-standard frameworks

  • Monitor model performance, retrain models as needed, and ensure data quality and integrity

  • Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and data analytics technologies

  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to team members

  • Support compliance with data privacy, security, and governance policies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field

  • 3–6 years of experience in data analysis, machine learning, AI, or related roles

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL

  • Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills

  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Data Science, AI, or a related discipline

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI/ML services

  • Familiarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, or similar)

  • Experience deploying production-level AI systems

  • Knowledge of data privacy regulations, ethical AI principles, and governance frameworks

Compensation

  • Annual Salary Range: $100,000 – $145,000 USD, based on experience, technical expertise, and geographic location
