The Development and Operations Associate supports organizational growth and operational effectiveness by assisting with business development initiatives, internal process coordination, reporting, and administrative execution. This role works cross-functionally to streamline workflows, support fundraising or revenue initiatives, track performance metrics, and ensure operational efficiency. The Associate plays a critical role in supporting leadership objectives in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business development initiatives, including research, proposal preparation, and client outreach

  • Assist in coordinating operational workflows and cross-functional projects

  • Maintain documentation of processes, procedures, and reporting metrics

  • Track revenue pipelines, fundraising activities, or strategic growth initiatives

  • Prepare operational and development performance reports for leadership

  • Manage internal systems and ensure data accuracy across platforms

  • Coordinate meetings, project timelines, and stakeholder communications

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency

  • Support budgeting, expense tracking, and financial documentation

  • Provide administrative support to development and operations leadership

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Finance, Public Administration, or related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, business development, nonprofit development, or administrative coordination roles

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Ability to analyze data and prepare clear reports

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant management, or revenue operations

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar platforms)

  • Knowledge of project management tools (Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar)

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Experience supporting executive-level leadership

Compensation

  • Annual Salary Range: $55,000 – $75,000 USD
