The People Initiatives Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategic people-focused programs that enhance employee engagement, organizational culture, talent development, and overall workforce effectiveness. This role partners with HR leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to lead initiatives that align with company objectives and foster a positive employee experience in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage enterprise-wide people initiatives focused on engagement, culture, performance, and employee experience

  • Partner with leadership and HR teams to design and implement strategic people programs and policies

  • Coordinate cross-functional projects related to organizational development, talent management, and employee well-being

  • Analyze employee feedback, engagement survey data, and HR metrics to identify improvement opportunities

  • Develop and manage communication plans to support change management and organizational initiatives

  • Support diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) initiatives

  • Oversee program timelines, budgets, and measurement of success metrics

  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and leadership programs when needed

  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, employment laws, and best practices

  • Recommend continuous improvements to employee programs and processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field

  • 5–8 years of experience in HR, people operations, employee engagement, or organizational development roles

  • Proven experience managing strategic HR programs or organizational initiatives

  • Strong project management and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities

  • Analytical mindset with experience using people data to inform decisions

  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in a remote environment

  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline

  • HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR

  • Experience working in fast-paced or high-growth organizations

  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and employee engagement tools

  • Experience supporting fully remote or distributed workforces

Compensation

  • Annual Salary Range: $105,000 – $140,000 USD, based on experience, qualifications, and organizational scope
