An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Chemistry Teacher to join a thriving Senior School. This role is ideal for a dedicated educator with a strong subject background and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role

  • Teach Chemistry within the Senior School

  • Deliver engaging, well-planned and creative lessons that inspire and challenge students

  • Maintain high expectations for student achievement and behaviour

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and its continued development

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Teach up to 22 lessons per week within a 30-period timetable

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and student welfare

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years' teaching experience

  • Experience with international curricula (VCE, CAIE, IB, IEB or similar)

  • A recognised teaching qualification (Teaching Degree or Degree with PGCE)

  • Excellent subject knowledge in Chemistry

  • Outstanding English language proficiency

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt to a new environment with cultural sensitivity

Desirable

  • Experience with student management systems (iSAMS, SIMS, etc.)

  • Google Educator Level 1 certification

  • Previous teaching experience in Southeast Asia

Additional Information

  • Average class size: approximately 15 students

  • A clear enhanced DBS and/or police check is required
