The Role
Maple Bloom International School is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Computer Teacher to join its growing Secondary School team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging Computing and ICT lessons within a modern international school environment.
The successful candidate will help students develop digital literacy, coding, computational thinking, and problem-solving skills while fostering creativity and confidence through technology-rich learning experiences.
The role would suit a teacher who enjoys innovation, collaboration, and working within a dynamic and expanding international school community.
Experience teaching within British curriculum, Pearson Edexcel, iLowerSecondary, IGCSE Computing, or related international programmes would be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computing and ICT across Secondary age ranges
- Deliver engaging lessons in coding, programming, computational thinking, digital literacy, and online safety
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment
- Support students in developing independent learning and problem-solving skills
- Monitor student progress and maintain high standards of teaching and learning
- Contribute to the continued development of the Computing curriculum
- Support wider STEM and technology initiatives within the school
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community
Candidate Profile
- The successful candidate will ideally possess:
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Degree in Computer Science, Computing, ICT, or related field
- Previous experience teaching within an international or British curriculum school
- Experience with Pearson Edexcel curriculum desirable
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Passion for digital learning and educational technology
- A collaborative and flexible approach suited to a growing international school environment
