The Opportunity

Our client school in Milan is seeking a qualified and passionate Italian Language Teacher to join their Paritaria Primary School team.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Italian language to Primary School students following the national curriculum

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on reading, writing, speaking, and listening

• Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that supports cognitive, social, and emotional development

• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to monitor student progress and provide academic support

• Participate actively in school life, including extracurricular activities and school-wide events

Requirements

• Degree in Primary Education Sciences (Laurea in Scienze della Formazione Primaria)

• Certified to teach Italian in Primary School settings

• Prior teaching experience with primary-aged students

• Strong knowledge of the Italian national curriculum

• Skilled in using modern teaching methodologies and educational technology

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience or familiarity with bilingual education, particularly in supporting Italian language acquisition in a multilingual environment

• High level of proficiency in English (spoken and written)

• Familiarity with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) or similar pedagogical approaches is an advantage
