Position Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our Early Childhood Department. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, nurturing, and well-versed in the American curriculum approach to early learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with the American curriculum.

  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

  • Promote the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social growth of young learners.

  • Assess student progress and communicate regularly with parents and school leadership.

  • Participate in school-wide activities, professional development, and collaborative planning.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (required).

  • Masters Degree in Education (preferred).

  • 3 - 5 years of teaching experience in American curriculum schools.

  • Training and experience in the American Education System (essential).

  • Excellent command of English reading, writing, and speaking (essential).

  • Recognised teaching certification or licensure (preferred).

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary: Generous TAX FREE and negotiable, based on experience and qualifications.

  • Accommodation:

    • Free, fully furnished single accommodation with utilities included, or

    • Housing allowance of KWD 150/month.

    • Teachers with families may access a 2-bedroom apartment for KWD 90/month.

    • Facilities include a gym and swimming pool.

  • Transportation:

    • Free two-way school transport for the first 3 months.

    • Optional continued service for KWD 20/month thereafter.

  • Airfare:

    • Initial joining ticket from home country.

    • Annual summer return ticket.

    • Return ticket at the end of the contract.

  • Medical Insurance:

    • Government health insurance for the first two years.

    • Private health insurance from the third year onward.

  • Tuition Discount:

    • 100% discount on school tuition fees for up to two children (subject to management approval).

  • Visa Support:

    • Reimbursement of up to KWD 100 for visa expenses in home country (with receipts).

Working Conditions:

  • Contract Length: Two years, renewable by mutual agreement.

  • Working Days: Approximately 177 teaching days per academic year.

  • Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 7:10 AM to 2:40 PM.
