About the Role:

We are excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for an experienced educational leader to join a prestigious international school as the Head of Senior School (Years 9-12). This role offers a career-defining opportunity in a unique and enriching environment, commencing in January 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional leadership and direction to faculty and staff within the Senior School.
  • Foster a holistic, dynamic, and forward-thinking learning environment.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Leadership Team, VCE Coordinator, Heads of Department, Senior School Teachers, Head of Boarding, and the Director of VCE and Culture Advisor.
  • Ensure high standards of achievement, curriculum quality, and teaching excellence in the Senior School.
  • Promote and safeguard the welfare of all students.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of teaching experience.
  • Experience with VCE, CAIE, IB, IEB, or other reputable international curricula.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to build caring rapport with students, faculty, staff, and parents.
  • Three or more years of experience in a senior leadership position (Deputy/Senior School Principal experience preferred).
  • Experience in international education, preferably in South-East Asia.
  • Cultural awareness, empathy, and diplomacy.
  • Strong administrative skills and exemplary interpersonal relationships.
  • High level of collaborative skills and high expectations of teachers and students.
  • Creativity and solutions-focused thinking.
  • Understanding of student wellbeing and educational technology.

Qualifications:

  • Teaching Degree, or Degree and PGCE.
  • Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and/or police check.
