The school, founded in 2016, is a K12 international school located at the foot of the picturesque and historic YuQuan Mountain in Haidian District, Beijing. The campus spans 200,000 square meters of beautifully landscaped gardens that blend natural ecology, cultural heritage, and modern architecture, with 140,000 square meters of green space.

The school curriculum is organized into the Elementary School (K5), Middle School (68), and High School (912). Guided by the Ministry of Educations nine-year compulsory education framework, the curriculum integrates the strengths of both Chinese and Western education.

In the High School, students follow a blended international curriculum including US Common Core, AP, and UK IGCSE and A-Level programs, preparing them for top universities around the world.

Qualifications and Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university
  • Bachelor of Education, PGCE, or a valid teaching license (QTS, state certification, or equivalent)
  • At least three years of experience teaching English Language Arts at the high school level in a bilingual, international, or government/state school setting

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum Development & Instruction:

  • Design and deliver engaging ELA lessons aligned with international curriculum standards (e.g., AP, IGCSE, A-Level)
  • Integrate technology and student-centered teaching methods to promote analytical and critical thinking
  • Cultivate a classroom environment that promotes academic rigor, creativity, and a love for literature

Student Development & Assessment:

  • Use a range of assessment tools to evaluate and track student progress
  • Provide personalized, timely feedback to support students growth in reading, writing, and analysis
  • Differentiate instruction to address diverse learning styles and academic levels

Collaboration & Professional Development:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent and coherent curriculum delivery across subjects
  • Participate actively in professional learning opportunities and school-wide initiatives
  • Stay current with developments in ELA pedagogy and global education trends

Parent Communication & Extracurricular Activities:

  • Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians about academic progress and school life
  • Participate in parent-teacher conferences and share insightful academic feedback
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities such as debate, literary clubs, and school events
