Early Years Teacher
Maple Bloom Elementary – Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
July 2026 or earlier
About the School
Maple Bloom has a distinguished 13-year history, founded by a highly experienced UK educator who previously led one of Solihull's top-rated pre-schools. Building on this strong reputation for quality education and parental trust, Maple Bloom opened its first pre-school in Tanzania in 2020.
Located in the sought-after Masaki district of Dar es Salaam, Maple Bloom Elementary is a purpose-built campus offering a British-style education within a nurturing and child-centred environment. As a Pearson Edexcel approved centre, the school delivers the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC) and International Primary Curriculum (IPC), providing children with an outstanding foundation for lifelong learning.
Small class sizes and well-resourced learning environments are central to the school's approach. Each class benefits from the support of experienced Teaching Assistants, enabling highly personalised learning and excellent early years provision.
Due to the exciting opening of a new campus, the school is now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teacher.
Living in Tanzania
Tanzania offers a uniquely rewarding lifestyle for international educators.
Masaki, where the school is based, is one of Dar es Salaam's most desirable residential areas, particularly popular with expatriates and families. Beyond the city, Tanzania is home to some of the world's most spectacular natural destinations, including safaris in the Serengeti, snorkelling in Zanzibar, and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. With its welcoming people and relaxed pace of life, Tanzania provides an exceptional setting in which to live and work.
