Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively working with a Family Office in Central Arkansas to help them find a Staff Accountant for their organization due to growth! This is a newly created position that will report to the Assistant Accounting Manager and will help their growth! This is a multi-faceted organization that has many businesses in many industries including: Insurance, Real Estate, Consulting, & Personal Services. The Staff Accountant will be instrumental in taking much of the high volume recons and Gl work off the Assistant Accounting Manager to elevate and delegate in the organization for continued growth.

This role will primarily support general ledger maintenance, pre-close activities, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. The organization has 5+ sets of books with significant transaction volume across multiple locations. Fully in-house operations using QuickBooks Online; primarily focused on GL and recons (30+ bank accounts), with AP/AR managed internally or at locations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume GL reconciliations and month-end tasks in a multi-entity environment
  • Handle pre- and post-close activities with strong attention to detail\
  • Collaborate on high-transaction accounting for complex operations.

Requirements

  • Proven GL and reconciliation experience in high-volume, multi-entity settings.
  • QuickBooks Online preferred (not required); basic-intermediate Excel skills.
  • On-site initially (8:30 AM–5:00 PM), with hybrid potential after training.
  • Sharp problem-solver with a great attitude and team-player mindset.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $50–55K
  • Descrentionary Bonus potential
  • Health Insurance and other benefits
  • 401(k): Safe-harbor match up to 4% (with 5% contribution); eligible after 6 months.
