Arkansas Talent Group is seeking an organized and driven House and Maintenance Manager for our client's estate in West Little Rock. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance, coordination of service providers, and overall operational upkeep of a private estate. The role requires a highly dependable, self-directed professional who can manage property needs with minimal supervision while ensuring the estate is consistently maintained to a high standard.

This is a hands-on position that combines light maintenance work with vendor coordination and property management responsibilities. The House and Maintenance Manager will oversee both the primary residence in Little Rock and a secondary lake home in Hot Springs (temporary responsibility while the property is on the market).

Key Responsibilities

Property Maintenance & Upkeep

  • Perform routine property maintenance and upkeep tasks across the estate.
  • Handle small repairs and maintenance items such as:
    • Minor electrical or plumbing fixes
    • Replacing air filters and batteries in household devices
    • Maintaining appliance service schedules
    • Ensuring HVAC systems remain in proper working condition.
  • Conduct weekly and as-needed maintenance including:
    • Cleaning or power washing decks
    • Keeping the pool deck and outdoor furniture clean and free of debris
    • Cleaning grills and other outdoor amenities.
  • Address general maintenance needs such as:
    • Minor plumbing repairs (example: faucet repairs)
    • Monitoring and coordinating repair of features such as exterior fountains
    • Managing preventative maintenance schedules for household systems and appliances.
  • Complete general odd and end cleaning or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain the property's appearance and functionality.

Vendor & Trade Coordination

  • Coordinate and manage outside service providers including:
    • Housekeeping staff
    • Pool maintenance services
    • Grounds and landscaping teams
    • Specialized contractors for electrical, plumbing, or other repairs.
  • Ensure vendors are scheduled appropriately and performing work to the expected standard.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding service timing, expectations, and follow-up needs.

Property Oversight

  • Monitor the overall condition of the property and proactively address maintenance issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain organized schedules and service records for household systems, equipment, and appliances.
  • Ensure the estate remains clean, safe, and well-maintained at all times.
  • Assist with preparation and coordination when the homeowners host events at the estate.

Work Environment

  • Primary work location: Private estate in West Little Rock
  • Additional oversight of a lake home in Hot Springs (temporary until property sale)
  • This is a 40-hour per week position.

Qualifications

  • Previous property management, estate management, or high-end residential maintenance experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of general home maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience coordinating contractors or service providers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and perform routine physical maintenance tasks as required.
