Human Resources Manager (manufacturing)

Arkansas Talent Group is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our client's manufacturing facility in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The Human Resources Manager plays a critical leadership role in managing all human resource functions at the site and their other site near Little Rock. The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, payroll, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and engagement for both plants.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all HR functions for two facilities (both Union and Non-Union).
• Manage the hourly workforce system, including promotions and job advancements.
• Support managers with everyday employee needs like coaching, career growth, and handling performance issues.
• Work side by side with leaders and employees to build stronger relationships, boost morale, and improve retention.
• Partner with the training team to spot skill gaps, roll out programs, and make sure theyre effective.
• Lead recruiting efforts by working closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to bring in great talent.

Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• HR certification (SHRM/HRCI) is a plus.
• At least 5 years of HR experience, including leadership responsibility.
• Previous HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is required.
• Strong understanding of employment laws, especially in Oregon.
• Familiarity with SAP SuccessFactors and ADP is preferred.
• Proven success in handling hourly recruitment and hiring strategy.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to navigate complex people and process challenges.
