Executive Assistant to the CEO

Arkansas Talent Group is searching for an experienced Sr Executive Assistant (EA) to support a CEO. This is a critical, high-visibility role responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Chief Executive Officer of a mid sized rapidly growing organization in Little Rock. This position requires a seasoned professional with proven experience supporting C-suite executives, managing complex initiatives, coordinating extensive travel, and preparing high-quality reports and presentations. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and adept at handling confidential information with discretion. Mastery of Microsoft Office and Google Suite is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CEOs complex calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and events, while anticipating and resolving conflicts to optimize the executives time.
  • Coordinate and arrange detailed domestic and international travel plans, itineraries, and logistics, ensuring seamless execution and minimal disruption to business priorities.
  • Prepare, edit, and format reports, presentations, and correspondence for internal and external stakeholders, reflecting a high standard of professionalism and accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, including board members, senior management, clients, and partners.
  • Lead or support the execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives and special projects, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion.
  • Screen and manage communications, including emails, calls, and correspondence, exercising sound judgment and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain and organize critical records, files, and information, ensuring easy access and strict confidentiality.
  • Prepare and process expense reports and other administrative documents as required.
  • Support the CEOs executive presence, acting as a gatekeeper and ambassador for the office.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting C-suite executives (Must have experience supporting a CEO, CFO, COO, etc.) in a fast-paced, mid to large sized company in a demanding environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing complex initiatives and projects with minimal supervision.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive-level reports and presentations.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Experience coordinating intricate travel arrangements, including international itineraries and last-minute changes.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience in a high-growth or entrepreneurial environment.
  • Familiarity with board relations and executive committee support.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities.
  • High degree of professionalism and executive presence.
  • Strong judgment, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
