About the job Portfolio Credit Manager (FinTech) - Remote
Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with an exciting FinTech Company in Little Rock, AR, to help them find a Portfolio Credit Manager for their organization. This is a newly created remote position due to growth, reporting to the Executive Credit Officer, and responsible for overall asset management and reporting of the organization's portfolio loans. You will maintain a high level of customer service, precision and efficiency, gathering required data and providing preliminary assessments on the performance of existing loan accounts.
What you will do:
- Monitor loan portfolio performance, assess credit risk, and ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Analyze past due accounts, loan maturities, and credit deterioration; recommend appropriate actions and risk grade adjustments
- Conduct financial analysis for renewals and annual reviews, including financial spreads, global cash flow, covenant testing, and credit memos
- Collaborate with Healthcare Relationship Managers on exceptions, pipeline updates, and loan review follow-ups
- Assist in resolving credit issues, delinquency matters, and troubled loan situations.
- Provide detailed reporting on portfolio performance, including asset quality, stress testing, and industry/market trends
- Prepares financial spreads, cash flows, and credit approval memos in line with policy and underwriting standards for Executive Credit Officer review
- Mentor junior portfolio managers as the portfolio grows, including goal setting and performance monitoring
- Maintain compliance with and adhere to all state and federal regulations and bank policies and procedures, including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, FACT ACT, Community Reinvestment Act, and EEO/AA/Fair Employment Practices
What you will have:
- Bachelors in Business, Finance, or Accounting required
- 3+ years commercial credit experience; specific focus on healthcare lending preferred
- Strong knowledge of commercial loan structures and documentation, including regulatory and policy compliance
- Advanced credit analysis skills and strong understanding of credit products, scoring models, and risk management; formal credit training preferred
- High level of organization and time management
- Ability to effectively identify problems & recommend appropriate solutions
- Effective and professional written and verbal communications
