Arkansas Talent Group is working with a very large Private Equity backed Manufacturing Company in Central Arkansas to help them find an FP&A Manager for their team.

This is a really exciting opportunity for Central Arkansas! This is a newly created FP&A Department that will report directly to a Senior Manager and be the right hand as they build out and grow the department. There will be growth opportunity internally and the Manager will get international experience, Private Equity Exposure, and the chance to help build out a world class FP&A team.

This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, forecasting, and analysis activities, providing critical insights to support strategic business decisions and drive operational excellence. The position offers significant exposure to executive leadership and the opportunity to influence corporate financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and refine complex multi-scenario forecasting models, incorporating cash flow, capital structure, debt service, and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to evaluate the effects of market changes, pricing decisions, and cost drivers.
  • Lead efforts to automate and enhance financial modeling processes to improve accuracy and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead core components of the annual budgeting cycle, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and long-term objectives.
  • Perform variance analysis, identify key financial drivers, and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Present financial performance findings to finance leadership and cross-functional partners, translating data into strategic business insights.
  • Streamline and automate variance analysis to deliver timely, actionable insights.
  • Serve as the finance teams data and analytics lead, utilizing tools such as Power BI and SQL to automate reporting and improve financial visibility.
  • Build and maintain real-time dashboards tracking key performance indicators, including revenue, margins, and cash flow.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve data integration and reporting efficiency across systems.
  • Champion financial reporting automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and boost efficiency.
  • Act as a strategic finance advisor to commercial, operations, and executive teams, translating financial data into business recommendations.
  • Drive change management for the adoption of new financial processes and reporting tools.
  • Mentor and support junior team members as the FP&A function grows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required; MBA or CPA/CFA preferred
  • 5-8+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally with exposure to multi-entity or corporate FP&A environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at a strategic level
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial statements, and corporate finance
  • Experience in treasury, cash management, and debt compliance preferred
  • Manufacturing Experience and Private Equity experience highly preferred
