Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with an Arkansas-based bank to find their next Compliance Specialist. As a key player in their team, you will focus on the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This onsite, non-customer facing position at their beautiful Headquarters Branch offers you the opportunity to collaborate with a passionate team committed to excellence and integrity while ensuring compliance with essential regulations.
This position is onsite but could be located at any of their Arkansas branches such as Little Rock, Batesville, Hot Springs, Fayetteville, or Rogers.
The Compliance (HMDA/CRA) Specialist is crucial in ensuring compliance with the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) and the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA). This dynamic role requires accurate and timely data collection, as well as maintaining data integrity to prepare annual reports that meet regulatory standards. Reporting directly to the SVP, Managing Director of ERM, you will facilitate monthly data collection from various business lines and perform essential data scrubs and validations.
As part of your responsibilities, you will research and resolve exceptions, provide detailed reporting, and assist during regulatory exams and internal audits. This position requires strict adherence to bank policies and all applicable state and federal regulations, making it an exciting opportunity for those passionate about data integrity and compliance in the banking industry.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Experience in fields such as banking, accounting, computer technology, data analytics, etc preferred
- Working knowledge of Excel and/or other analytics software
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to problem solve in a situation with a variety of variables
