About the job Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A)
Arkansas Talent Group is working with a very large Private Equity backed Manufacturing Company in Central Arkansas to help them find a Senior FP&A Analyst for their team.
This is a really exciting opportunity for Central Arkansas! This is a newly created FP&A Department that will report directly to a Senior Manager and be the right hand as they build out and grow the department. There will be growth opportunity internally and the Analyst will get international experience, Private Equity Exposure, and the chance to help build out a world class FP&A team.
This position is integral to support financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making across the company. The successful candidate will work closely with various department leaders, delivering actionable insights through robust analysis, modeling, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for multiple business units
- Support monthly financial reporting, including variance analysis against plans and historical data; communicate results clearly to stakeholders at all levels
- Partner with Accounting to streamline financial processes and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Oversee capital expenditure planning and monitoring, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and budget
- Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards to present key financial and operational metrics to leadership
- Provide analytical support to department heads to drive both operational and strategic decisions
- Construct and update financial models and business analyses to underpin company initiatives
- Build strong working relationships with stakeholders, serving as a reliable resource throughout planning cycles
- Identify opportunities to utilize ERP data for improved forecasting and decision-making
- Perform ad hoc analysis and contribute to special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Business, preferably Finance or Accounting
- 2-5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Power BI a plus
- Solid grasp of finance and accounting concepts, with a strong understanding of financial statements
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
