Arkansas Talent Group is exclusively partnering with one of Arkansas' most prominent CPA Firms to help them find an Audit Manager to join their organization.
This is a newly created role for succession planning to fill the shoes of a Partner in the NWA office that will be retiring in the next 2-3 years. They prefer to bring in a Tax Candidate at the Senior Tax Manager level and be fast-tracked to Partner level in a very quick time frame! This is one of the most unique Tax Opportunities in the state that will walk into a very large and established book of business.
They are seeking a Seasoned Tax Leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service, managing complex tax engagements, and leading a team of talented professionals. The Senior Tax Manager will play a key role in overseeing tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for a diverse portfolio of clients, while contributing to the firm's strategic growth initiatives.
Duties would includes :
Client Management & Advisory:
- Serve as the primary liaison for a diverse portfolio of clients, including corporations, partnerships, and nonprofit organizations.
- Provide insights on audit findings and business risks, delivering clear recommendations for internal controls and process improvements.
- Advise clients on regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices for financial reporting and compliance.
Audit Planning & Execution:
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of complex financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations.
- Oversee fieldwork to ensure audits are performed efficiently, in accordance with GAAP, GAAS, and other applicable standards.
Identify key risk areas and develop audit strategies that address business risks and control weaknesse
Leadership & Mentorship:
- Supervise and mentor audit team members, guiding professional development and ensuring quality work output.
Coordinate workload and deadlines across audit teams to meet client expectations and firm standards.
Participate in recruiting efforts and promote a culture of continuous learning and collaboration
Business Development:
- Support business development initiatives by identifying client needs and recommending additional services.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, representing the firm at industry events and networking opportunities.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic growth and client service enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Accounting / Masters Preferred
- CPA
- 7+ years of audit experience for a mid to large accounting firm; 3+ in Management capacity
- Proven leadership ability
- Strong technical knowledge audit and compilation knowledgeable across multiple industries
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
