The perfect candidate will have 5+ years in financial analysis, monitoring cash flow and projecting cash, operational and financial analysis and reporting, and forecasting/budgeting. This person will be the point person on creating the financial package with the Controller/CFO.

Senior Financial Analyst – Arkansas-Based Retail Company
Arkansas Talent Group is partnering with a premier Arkansas-based retail company seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team. This is a newly created position driven by the companys rapid expansion. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial acumen, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with senior leadership in shaping financial strategy and decision-making.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead financial analysis efforts, including detailed forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor, analyze, and project cash flow to ensure effective liquidity and capital planning for company operations.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reporting packages in coordination with the Controller and CFO for executive review.
- Perform ongoing operational and financial analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement or cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain robust financial models and dashboards to support business planning and performance tracking.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine forecasting accuracy and integrate financial insights into operational plans.
- Support annual budgeting and strategic planning cycles, providing data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience, ideally within retail, CPG, or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite); experience with BI tools a plus.
- Proven experience in financial modeling, cash flow forecasting, and budget management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
