Overview:

Our client, a provider of disposable medical supplier is seeking a highly experienced bookkeeper with double entry and stock accounting experience. Must live within easy commute of the office and have access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily processing of all purchase ledger invoices for the following entities within the Purple Surgical Group: PSUK, PSI, PSM.
  • These will be processed on LM scanned and saved electronically.
  • Stock queries will need to be followed up and resolved with the team in Taunton.
  • To work closely with the team in Taunton to establish payment dates and schedule payments for all stock invoices.
  • Support the annual Audit process gathering information and reports as required.
  • Ensure preparation of month end reconciliations across all balance sheet nominal accounts
  • Monthly reconciliation and posting of credit card statements.
  • Daily posting of bank receipts for PSUK customers
  • Posting of monthly expense and business mileage claims
  • Uploading PSUK & PSI sales to BLM
  • Updating sales on PSUK & PSM
  • Preparation and posting of monthly journals
  • Preparation and posting of monthly Stock Journals
  • Ad hoc tasks, sending copy invoices, maintaining the TFL & Dartford crossing accounts etc.
  • Ad hoc reports and analysis where required.

About You:

  • Genuine Understanding of double entry bookkeeping and stock accounting Essential
  • Good Bookkeeping skills Essential
  • Microsoft Excel - Intermediate level knowledge or advanced Essential
  • Willing to work 5 days per week based in Shenley Essential
  • Part qualified or Part Qualified by experience. Desirable
