Our International Manufacturing Client is actively seeking a highly skilled engineering professional to join their team in the role of Costs.  Specifically with a focus on cost accounting. Calculation of monthly GP per customer: (normal production, MVR, consignment, spot-buys) Client analysis with low GP. Cost simulation and cost scenario. PPV analysis by customer. Freight in analysis by customer. Analysis of freight out by customer. Allowance analysis by customer. WL & scrap performance analysis by part number. Analysis of labor and overhead per unit in production orders. Review of quotes.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering; Manufacturing, Industrial,  or other related.
  • 5 years in Cost Accounting Verifiable Manufacturing/Automotive Industry.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Client analysis with low GP.
  • Cost simulation and cost scenario.
  • PPV analysis by customer.
  • Freight in analysis by customer.
  • Analysis of freight out by customer.
  • Allowance analysis by customer.
  • WL & scrap performance analysis by part number.
  • Analysis of labor and overhead per unit in production orders.
  • Review of quotes.
  • Preparation of quotations.
  • Contact a corporate sales representative for quotes.
  • Flat Price Audit Route audits, man time, and machine time.
  • Search for new suppliers for direct material.
  • Validation of savings compared to PPV.
