Job Openings Vice President of Growth

About the job Vice President of Growth

Our Client, a Silicon Valley-based company who creates security, privacy, and productivity apps that generate consumer demand, is now looking for an experienced Vice President of Growth to join their team.

Location: Los Angeles, CA, US
Type: Full-time, Hybrid
Start date: ASAP
About the company:

The company was founded in 2017 and is dedicated to solving consumer privacy, security, and productivity problems with solutions that add value for their partners.

With over $50 million in funding from leading investors, they have completed six strategic acquisitions and are rapidly expanding their disruptive market influence. By focusing on an addressable market of 1 billion users worldwide, they are making a significant impact on the daily lives of people across the globe.

About the Role:

The company is looking for a hands-on Vice President of Growth to lead our ecommerce execution engine. This is a builder role for someone who thrives on velocity — shipping emails, landing pages, and conversion experiments daily, not weekly. You will own the full production cycle for growth assets and be responsible for taking our release cadence from once a week to once a day.
The ideal candidate has deep ecommerce and direct-response experience, a rigorous testing mindset, and the process discipline to help a team move faster without sacrificing quality. You are equally comfortable writing a creative brief, reviewing A/B test results, and unblocking a developer on a checkout flow.

Responsibilities:

Growth Asset Production

  • Personally own and drive end-to-end production of growth assets — emails, landing pages, checkout flows, upsell pages, and onboarding sequences. This means hands-on execution, not just oversight.
  • Lead a team from a 1x/week release cadence to daily shipping through better process, tooling, and prioritization.
  • Build and maintain an asset pipeline with clear ownership, templates, and QA standards that enable speed without rework.
  • Partner closely with design, copy, and engineering to remove bottlenecks and keep production moving.

Ecommerce & Conversion Optimization

  • Own conversion rate optimization (CRO) across the full funnel — acquisition, checkout, post-purchase, and renewal.
  • Manage and continuously improve the ecommerce experience including pricing pages, cart flows, payment UX, and on-site toasters and notification overlays that drive conversion and upsell.
  • Partner with the billing and payments team to reduce friction and improve authorization and recovery rates.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact conversion opportunities using data, session recordings, and customer feedback.

Testing & Experimentation

  • Build and run a rigorous A/B and multivariate testing program across email, landing pages, and checkout experiences.
  • Establish a testing calendar with clear hypotheses, measurement plans, and fast iteration cycles.
  • Create a culture where every campaign and asset is an opportunity to learn and improve.
  • Own reporting on test results and communicate findings clearly to leadership and cross-functional partners.

Email Marketing & Lifecycle

  • Own the email channel end-to-end — strategy, production, segmentation, deployment, and performance.
  • Drive retention and LTV through triggered, behavioral, and promotional email programs.
  • Continuously improve open rates, click rates, and revenue per send through testing and segmentation.
  • Ensure deliverability, compliance, and list health are maintained at scale.

Team & Process Leadership

  • Manage and grow a cross-functional growth team including email, web, and CRO specialists.
  • Implement production workflows, sprint cadences, and tools that enable daily shipping at high quality.
  • Set clear KPIs for the team and create accountability structures that drive consistent output.
  • Be a strong collaborator with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Success.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in growth, ecommerce, or digital marketing — with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of increasing release or experiment velocity within a team.
  • Hands-on experience producing and optimizing emails, landing pages, and ecommerce flows at scale.
  • Strong A/B and multivariate testing background with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce conversion funnels, checkout optimization, and subscription business models.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, CMS tools, and A/B testing platforms; Braze experience a strong plus.
  • Strong project management skills — you know how to run a production pipeline, not just set a strategy.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in cybersecurity, SaaS, or subscription software.
  • Familiarity with billing platforms, payment flows, and subscription lifecycle management.
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate content production, personalization, or testing.
  • Background in direct response marketing or performance-driven creative.

The Company Offers:

  • Competitive Base Salary
  • Performance Bonus: Annual performance bonus targeted at 15–20% of base salary, tied to individual and company growth metrics including conversion rate improvements, revenue targets, and release velocity goals.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Professional development and education reimbursement
  • Hybrid work environment — office in Howard Hughes Center, Los Angeles, CA
