About the job IT Technical Engineer
Responsibilities
- Helpdesk Support / Remote Support
- Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords to allow access to the network
- Troubleshoot network problems and outages, ensure networks are running smoothly
- Install new hardware (servers, printers, computer work stations etc.)
- Training staff on new infrastructure solutions
- Setup VOIP Telephone
- Share your knowledge and skills with your colleagues, offering help where needed to build a positive working atmosphere
- Give honest and constructive feedback to your colleagues to develop their skills
- Work in accordance with company standards and local legislation with health & safety and security routines, to guarantee you, your colleagues and customer safety at all times
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field, with 4 years of experience
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products
- Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution
- Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software in addition other remote access desktop programs
- Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
