About the job IT Technical Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Helpdesk Support / Remote Support  
  • Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords to allow access to the network
  • Troubleshoot network problems and outages, ensure networks are running smoothly 
  • Install new hardware (servers, printers, computer work stations etc.) 
  • Training staff on new infrastructure solutions
  • Setup VOIP Telephone 
  • Share your knowledge and skills with your colleagues, offering help where needed to build a positive working atmosphere
  • Give honest and constructive feedback to your colleagues to develop their skills
  • Work in accordance with company standards and local legislation with health & safety and security routines, to guarantee you, your colleagues and customer safety at all times 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field, with 4 years of experience 
  • Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role 
  • Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products 
  • Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution 
  • Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software in addition other remote access desktop programs
  • Ability to prioritize and manage several milestones and projects efficiently 
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
