Engineering Manager
About the job Engineering Manager
Responsibilities
- Ensure team compliance with all safety and environmental codes as well as governmental, city and state laws, policies and contracts
- Monitor tenant construction, property service requests, maintenance of building and system integrity
- Produce building energy usage reports and proposals, and monitor management systems
- Monitor building energy use; produce reports and proposals and maintain energy management programs
- Maintain good tenant relations by establishing and implementing procedures for timely responses on tenant and property service requests
- Control engineering activities; oversee, train and evaluate engineering and maintenance staff
- Monitor time sheets and staff performance.
- Provide technical leadership to major projects, build and lead a high-performance engineering team of 8-12 engineers.
- Be responsible for engineering roadmap and execution from concept to delivery.
- Convey the vision of design to various stakeholders. Work closely with other Engineering Leaders, Product Management and Consumer Lifecycle Marketing, and enable them by providing scalable and high-quality technology solutions at a rapid pace
- Give engineers the tools, confidence, and motivation to make decisions independently that lead to the recognition of your engineers and not just yourself.
- Evaluate performances regularly and share and seek feedback.
- Set up best practices for development and overlook its adoption.
Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree Civil Engineer
- 7-10 years of experience in Property Development and Project Development.
- Having direct experience with property development project, either in residential or retail development.
- Good management skill, communication skill and Team work. Excellent in English.
