Our client is a global manufacturer of steel and aluminum wheels.
Work Location: Saraburi
Artemis is now seeking for Painting Engineer with at least 3 years of working experience.
Responsibilities
- Initiate and assign process area and associated equipment.
- Ensure assigned process is capable of meeting specified requirements.
- Continually monitor process Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Able to assess and analyses current processes and drive improvement or Safety, Quality, Throughput, Cost or Environment
- Ensure critical process parameters are properly documented and tracked using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
- Ensure appropriate TPM systems are in place and appropriate actions taken to maintain the facility in good operating condition.
- Establish, maintain, and ensure compliance to process Control Plan per PFMEA.
- Continually monitor key product characteristics.
- Interact with Quality team to correct, contain, and resolve product quality concerns.
- Support new model/product/material introductions in coordination with Design Engineering, New Product Introduction team, Quality, and other parties as needed.
- Lead engineering techs in day to day operations of their process.
- Create packaging design, test capability, costing, standard BOM, ergonomics, replenishing requirement and create new item drawing and concern documents
- Create Final Inspection Standard Operating I, cycle time, layout, environment, and Gage R&R properly to product type
- Procure equipment, track budget costs, standard stock items and project schedules
- Daily monitoring process variation and troubleshooting with PDCA methods
- Conduct evaluation, training and qualification of 4M in manufacturing upon new introduction or change implementation
- Be green belt or black belt to lead 6 Sigma project in Painting area
- Provide right Solution to be best-in-class in customer perception
- Lead Paint Technology and innovative and industrialize in mass
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or other Engineering discipline with Painting process experience
- Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles to identify and drive non-standard solutions to solve manufacturing constraints.
- Comfortable providing clear and focused technical guidance to outside engineering resources, as well as the Production Team or suppliers
- Ability to work in rapidly changing environment with minimal guidance, self-starter, yet team player.
- Ability to manage one or more projects involving cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with internal groups and outside vendors.
- Proficiency in AutoCad, Catia, or Solid Works is a plus.
- Good overall people management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Able to work on Saturday
