Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chinese Curriculum Coordinator to join our team. As the Chinese Curriculum Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing engaging Chinese language curricula tailored to the needs of our diverse student base. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our educational content is comprehensive, effective, and aligned with industry standards.

Onsite: Bang Phlat, Bangkok

Responsibilities:

• Design Chinese language curricula in accordance with the guidelines set by the Ministry of Education, ensuring alignment with national educational standards and objectives.
• Utilize expertise in teaching methodologies to develop effective curriculum materials that cater to the diverse needs of learners.
• Provide training and support to Thai teachers on implementing the curriculum, offering guidance on instructional techniques, classroom management, and assessment strategies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of teaching methods and curriculum implementation through classroom observations, student feedback, and performance assessments.
• Adapt teaching curriculum as needed to accommodate varying learning styles, abilities, and cultural backgrounds of students.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate feedback and continuously improve curriculum offerings.
• Occasionally travel to different provinces to provide on-site support, conduct training sessions, and collaborate with local schools and teachers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chinese, Education, Linguistics, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in curriculum development, Chinese language teaching, and teacher training.
• Strong understanding of Ministry of Education guidelines and regulations related to curriculum development and implementation.
• Possession of a professional teaching certificate is highly desirable.
• Excellent proficiency in Chinese, demonstrated through good scores in HSK 4, or equivalent assessments.
• Experience working with diverse student populations and proficiency in designing curriculum materials for various learning levels and needs.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues, students, and stakeholders from different cultural backgrounds.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and occasional travel requirements.
• Previous experience working with foreigners and understanding of cross-cultural communication dynamics is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate training sessions and occasional travel.
• Self-directed work proficiency is essential; minimal supervision expected
