Accounting Director

Role and Responsibilities

• Directs and oversees all aspects of the Accounting function of the Group
• Establishes and enforces proper Finance & Accounting policies for the Group and ensures the compliance with Thai GAAP
• Establishes and directs effective implementation of Group’s accounting process & procedure for all key activities
• Directs and actively participates in preparing the Group’s month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing and reports (including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statement) as well as ensure the accuracy and timeliness
• Prepares monthly financial management reports and other reports as required by the management, i.e. analysis vs Budget/Forecast, expenses report, store P&L, etc.
• Provides the management with advice on the financial implications of business activities
• Actively participates in preparing the Group’s annual budget and monthly forecasting and ensures budget compliance
• Ensures that the Group’s VAT and withholding tax be accurate and timely submitted to the Tax Authority
• Co-operates with relevant function to prepare and submit quarterly & annual audited financial statements to the regulatory bodies, i.e. SEC/SET, Ministry of Commerce, etc. on a timely manner

Qualifications

• Male/Female with at least 40 years of age
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting with CPA
• At least 10 years in supervisory level
• Experiences in a real estate business are a must
• Possesses strong Accounting and Tax knowledge
• Commits to deadline, well-planned/organized person, enthusiasm and self-motivated
• Provides valuable and creative insight into business performance
• Be positive, proactive, hands-on, result-oriented, flexible, able to work in a dynamic environment
• Possesses an effective verbal and written communication skill, both Thai and English
• Be able to coach, train and develop team members
• Excellent in computer skills (MS Office Applications) and knowledge of SAP is an advantage
