Finance Controller

Our client is the world’s leader in highly engineered acrylic and polymer material products.

Artemis is now seeking for a Finance Controller with at least 8 years of working experience.

Working Location: Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Pluak Daeng, Rayong. Thailand

SUMMARY:

Directs and oversees the financial activities of the Company by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors or staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: 

·         Include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed or requested.

·         Establishes, or recommends to management, major accounting objectives and policies for company.

·         Reconciles general ledger monthly along with journal entries involved therewith.

·         Prepares monthly financial statements.

·         Reconciles back accounts monthly.

·         Prepares job cost direct labor import.

·         Prepares job cost overhead application.

·         Responsible for RPT Foreign Exports accounting

·         Communicates cash requirements to Regional MD.

·         Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies.

·         Prepares VAT reports as required by Governmental Agencies.

·         Periodically audits Company data and processes data to ensure compliance with Company policies.

·         Corresponds with pension plan administrator on an as needed basis.

·         Corresponds with insurance agency regarding coverage, claims, audits and renewals.

·         ISO9001:2015 Reporting and resolution in collaboration with the Regional Managing Director.

·         To oversee and supporting all information to subordinate to support the company policy in the process and continuation of quality system (ISO9001:2015).

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

                Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, as well as appraising subordinates work performance.

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

                Bachelor’s degree (BA) with a minimum of 8 years’ experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

 LANGUAGE SKILLS:

·         Thai National. Must have excellent command of spoken and written English.

·         Must be able to read, analyses business journals, professional journal, technical procedures, and/or government regulations.
