About the job Senior Procurement and Logistics Specialist
What are my responsibilities?
- · Procurement & Logistics / SCM Function:
- · Identify potential suppliers for required products/ solutions
- · Conduct new vendor qualification and annual assessment
- · Perform cost analysis, price negotiation & make recommendation to management
- · Monitor supplier delivery, product quality and take remedial action whenever necessary
- · Prepare annual budget & periodic forecast on procurement related KPIs
- · Prepare & submit all procurement related reports on regular & ad hoc basis
- · Identify performance gap & propose remedial action
- · Monitor and manage “Purchase to Pay” (P2P) alerts / reports
- · Supports ISO qualifications, audits and document maintenance / control
- · Ensure daily operation is performed in accordance to our process /procedures set
- · Follow Siemens’s Export control (ECC) guideline
- · Coordinate and monitor overall logistics, customs rules and regulations (Tariff code, duty
- rate, import license, import privileges and etc.)
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- · Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Finance or
- related discipline
- · At least 3-5 years of relevant experience with knowledge of project environment
- · Basic Project Management skill
- · Basic Contract knowledge, INCO terms
- · Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment with a strong “entrepreneurial”
- character and problem-solving skills
- · Analytical, self-initiative and team player with good communication skills
- · Good knowledge of PC applications such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
