About the Role:
The organization is seeking a Project Manager to work closely with the CEO and core team on a high-impact, multi-stakeholder initiative.
This role will lead the execution of a flagship project in collaboration with a global sustainability organization, along with supply chain partners, apparel brands, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
The Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Leading the development of a framework and code of conduct for a large-scale sustainability program
- Managing the pilot phase and subsequent multi-year rollout
- Driving alignment across diverse stakeholders with varying priorities
This is a highly visible role requiring strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and strategic execution capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage strong relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including global partners, brands, and implementation teams
- Develop and execute detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones using structured project management tools
- Lead stakeholder consultations, workshops, and working groups
- Drive coordination across internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery
- Establish robust monitoring & evaluation (M&E), reporting, and governance mechanisms
- Create structured processes for data collection, analysis, and reporting (monthly/quarterly)
- Support communication efforts in collaboration with internal and external teams to advance project visibility
- Continuously track progress and implement improvements through internal review mechanisms
- Represent the organization in external forums, industry platforms, and stakeholder discussions where required

Candidate Profile:
Experience & Background
- 5–7 years of experience in project management, consulting, or program execution
- Experience in sustainability, agriculture, textiles, or supply chains is strongly preferred
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Exposure to cotton/textile value chains, sustainability standards, CSR, or development sector programs is a plus
- Prior experience with sustainable cotton initiatives or similar programs is desirable

- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and facilitation abilities
- Ability to align diverse stakeholders and drive consensus
- Solid understanding of project management frameworks, tools, and reporting systems
- Experience managing teams and cross-functional coordination
- Strong ownership, with the ability to work independently and across geographies/time zones
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.
