Lead - Strategic Initiatives

This is a high-impact leadership role based in Mumbai. You will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the organization, driving innovation, and ensuring that all initiatives are perfectly aligned with long-term business objectives. The primary goal is to lead and contribute to major strategic initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in formulating and implementing organizational strategies that drive innovation and deliver clear outcomes for beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic R&D & Incubation: Lead the research and development for new programs and external partnerships. You will be responsible for the incubation of operational plans and running pilots for new initiatives.
• Program Design: Use structured methodologies to develop innovative services that deliver measurable impact.
• Agile Project Management: Oversee multiple projects at various stages of their lifecycle, working in an agile manner to meet tight deadlines.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal functional heads and external partners to ensure smooth program implementation.
• Impact Measurement: Create frameworks to measure programmatic outcomes, reach, and overall success.
• Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends and gather cross-functional insights to identify new growth opportunities and maintain a competitive position.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: You should hold a Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy, or a related field (or a Post Graduate degree in a development sector-related field).
• Experience: A minimum of 10–12 years of experience in the social sector is required.
• Expertise: You must have thorough knowledge of the social sector and specialist expertise in one or more specific areas.
• Skills: Strong communication and influencing skills are essential. You should also be experienced in commissioning projects from third parties to meet specific objectives.

In this role, you will interact closely with:

• Internal: The Chief Strategy Officer, the Executive Leadership Team, and various Functional Heads across the organization.

• External: Key external partners and strategic stakeholders.
