The organization is looking for a Learning & Knowledge Management professional who can help build institutional learning systems, translate field insights into actionable knowledge, and strengthen thought leadership and communication around social innovation and entrepreneurship.
Role Overview
This role sits at the intersection of:

The individual will work closely with program, research, and communication teams to capture learning emerging from field initiatives, synthesize insights, and package them into high-quality knowledge products for both internal and external audiences.
The role requires someone who is equally comfortable with:

Key Responsibilities
A. Learning & Knowledge Management
- Manage organizational learning and sense-making across entrepreneurship and livelihood initiatives through approaches such as developmental evaluation and embedded research.
- Design and strengthen frameworks for institutional learning, documentation, and knowledge management.
- Build systems to capture field insights, best practices, and program narratives in a structured and iterative manner.
- Consolidate learning emerging from implementation teams and translate it into actionable organizational knowledge.
- Maintain and organize high-quality, up-to-date internal knowledge repositories and learning resources.
B. Knowledge Development & Research
- Develop knowledge products including:
- Process manuals
- Toolkits
- Technical reports
- Case studies
- Learning notes
- Program narratives
- Insight papers
- Conduct secondary and field research related to entrepreneurship, livelihoods, sustainability, and social innovation.
- Support development and testing of new social innovation approaches and learning methodologies.
- Monitor and analyze program outcomes and emerging ecosystem trends.
- Translate research and field learning into accessible and engaging formats for internal and external stakeholders.
C. Communication & Thought Leadership
- Support the organization's thought leadership efforts through:
- Perspective papers
- Articles and publications
- Webinars and workshops
- Knowledge dissemination events
- Work closely with communication teams to design dissemination strategies for knowledge products and learning outputs.
- Build compelling narratives and storytelling around grassroots entrepreneurship and innovation.
- Support communication across digital platforms, reports, presentations, and external engagement forums.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in knowledge management, organizational learning, research, MEL, or program documentation roles.
- Exposure to livelihoods, entrepreneurship, sustainability, social innovation, or grassroots development ecosystems.
- Strong qualitative research and synthesis skills.
- Experience developing reports, publications, toolkits, manuals, or knowledge products.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and communication capability.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfort operating in evolving and high-ownership environments.
