We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead Business-to- Government (B2G) and Business-to-Business (B2B) sales initiatives. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and managing high-performing sales teams. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of government procurement processes, corporate sales cycles, and ecosystem development in vocational education and industrial skilling. The candidate should be ready to travel across India as well as internationally (whenever required).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in B2G/B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in consultative selling to government and corporate clients in skilling, manufacturing, or education.
  • Strong understanding of government procurement cycles, CSR funding, and corporate partnerships.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, solve problems and think creatively
  • Proficient with MS Office and AI tools for efficiency and productivity
  • High adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with NSDC, Sector Skill Councils, and CSR-funded training program.
  • Familiarity with government policies such as PMKVY, Skill India Program and other skill development schemes.
  • Strong network across ministries, industry bodies (e.g., CII, FICCI), and large corporates.
  • Exposure to Middle East, African, and Asian markets


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement sales strategies for B2G and B2B segments aligned with company objectives to achieve growth and revenue targets.
  • Identify, Develop and prioritize new business opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline for long-term growth.
  • Lead go-to-market strategies for new offerings in skilling, education, and manufacturing solutions.
  • Identify and pursue government tenders, RFPs, and funding opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key ministries and departments (e.g., Directorate General of Training, Vocational Education & Training, Technical Education etc.).
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across central and state government departments.
  • Forge partnerships with L&D teams of manufacturing companies, corporates, and industry associations.
  • Promote skill development programs, technical training solutions, and educational tools.
  • Negotiate and close large deals, ensuring customer first approach.
  • Develop commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure agreements with customers.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Learning delivery teams to ensure alignment and customer success.
  • Contribute to program improvement by relaying market and client feedback.
  • Set annual goals and objectives for the team.
  • Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Define KPIs, monitor performance, and implement continuous improvement plans.

Government Engagement(B2G)
