About the job Lead Academics - High School
LOCATION: Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore
Position Overview
This role is central to delivering exceptional academic outcomes for students in Grades 9 and 10 in our partner schools. The leader will be responsible for designing and implementing high-quality curriculum at scale for Board exam success across the country for CBSE and State Boards. The leader will work closely with the Business and Technology teams, and with our authoring partners, to scale our high school curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- 
Lead the design, adoption, and continuous improvement of high school curriculum, including lesson plans, textbooks, assessments, and digital resources, aligned with Board requirements. Start with CBSE Board and scale to other State Boards. 
- 
Lead strategic planning and delivery of the entire curriculum in a timely manner with high quality for schools to implement. 
- 
Guide a team of subject experts, content developers, reviewers, and digital content creators, ensuring the product is built in a timely manner with high quality. 
- 
Ensure all curriculum and assessments meet the learning standards as prescribed by the Board. Drive implementation of the solution in schools, and further improve curriculum based on learnings. Ensure curriculum is regularly updated based on guidance from the Board. 
- 
Closely monitor implementation at schools, capture learnings, and improve the product. Scale the product based on these learnings. 
- 
Design teacher training materials and train master trainers/teachers to implement the curriculum. Lead query handling from schools to drive high implementation. 
- 
Expand the product from the current CBSE to other State Boards. 
Ideal Profile Must Haves
- 6 to 8 years of experience in curriculum design or academic leadership, with a strong focus on high school (Grades 8to 10
- Experience in developing content in STEM subjects for senior grades. 
- 
Graduate or postgraduate degree from a reputed Indian institution. 
- 
Familiarity with digital learning platforms and integration of technology in lesson delivery. Demonstrated strength in program management, including planning and executing complex, multi-phase educational initiatives.
- 
Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentorship skills. 
- 
Demonstrated strength in teacher training and experience of getting products adopted at scale. 
Good to Have
- 
 Involvement in assessment or test-prep product development for the CBSE Board.
- Exposure as a classroom teacher or test-prep faculty for Grades 8, 9, and 10, with a track record of improving board exam outcomes.
