Their flagship programs have already reached thousands across India, and they are now looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join their team and contribute to deepening their impact.
Role Summary:

The Project Manager Environment will lead the design and implementation of innovative, strategic programs aligned with global frameworks (ESG, COP, SDGs) and organization's mission. This role demands expertise in program planning, budgeting, impact monitoring, stakeholder engagement, compliance (BRSR, SROI), and collaborative growth. It also involves advocacy, visibility at events, and developing scalable models for environmental impact, especially in areas such as water, sustainability, and conservation.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Build strong understanding of the environmental ecosystem, including climate, water, waste, and biodiversity.
2.Design forward-looking programs aligned with corporate expectations and global mandates(ESG, SDGs, COP goals).
3.Create and manage program plans, timelines, deliverables, and impact frameworks (outputs, outcomes, impact).
4.Prepare and oversee budgets, expenditures, and resource identification for prototypes and scaling efforts.
5.Ensure program quality, compliance, and on-time delivery with proper documentation and reporting standards.
6.Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and ensure robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms.
7.Collaborate with internal teams, corporate partners, NGOs, academic institutions, and government agencies.
8.Create replicable program playbooks and knowledge products for future scale and operations team adoption.
9.Lead program documentation for donors, internal teams, and external audits as required.
10.Actively represent the organization at external events and forums, positioning the organization as a thought leader.
11.Ensure alignment with legal, safety, and financial regulations, including sector-standard reporting structures (BRSR, SROI).
12.Work with third-party certifying bodies and academic institutions for validation and program innovation.
13.Execute any additional responsibilities assigned by the organization from time to time.
Qualifications & Requirements:

1.Postgraduate in MSW / MA in Development / Environmental Studies / or other relevant fields.
2.10-12 years of experience in program design and execution, preferably in the environment, water, or sustainability sectors.
3.Exposure to CSR, social development, or environmental conservation campaigns or strategy highly preferred.
4.Strong communication skills in English and Hindi (proficiency in Kannada is an added advantage).
5.Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement, especially with corporates, government bodies, and NGOs.
6.Familiarity with ESG reporting, SROI, and sustainability metrics.
Willingness to travel as required for program implementation and partner coordination.
