Position Summary
Lead high-impact education assessments combining research expertise and stakeholder management to improve learning outcomes in government schools. Work directly with state governments, NGOs, and multilateral agencies to design and implement evidence-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Evaluation:
- Design and execute mixed-methods research (qualitative interviews, classroom observations, and quantitative analysis)
- Develop competency-based assessment tools with psychometric rigor
- Analyse large-scale student learning data to identify trends and gaps
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Represent the organization in education policy forums and working groups
- Conduct capacity building workshops for government officials
- Present findings to education departments and policy makers
Project Leadership:
- Manage research teams and project timelines
- Ensure quality assurance of all assessment deliverables
- Develop policy recommendations based on research findings
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience, (preferably in the education or development sector, with at least 4 years of relevant managerial experience.)
- Advanced degree in Education, Economics, Psychology or related field
Strong Expertise Required in:
- Research methodology
- Statistical analysis & psychometrics
- Communication and presentation skills
- Working with government systems preferred
