Senior Manager - Impact Assessments

Position Summary

Lead high-impact education assessments combining research expertise and stakeholder management to improve learning outcomes in government schools. Work directly with state governments, NGOs, and multilateral agencies to design and implement evidence-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Evaluation:

• Design and execute mixed-methods research (qualitative interviews, classroom observations, and quantitative analysis)
• Develop competency-based assessment tools with psychometric rigor
• Analyse large-scale student learning data to identify trends and gaps

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Represent the organization in education policy forums and working groups
• Conduct capacity building workshops for government officials
• Present findings to education departments and policy makers

Project Leadership:

• Manage research teams and project timelines
• Ensure quality assurance of all assessment deliverables
• Develop policy recommendations based on research findings

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

1. 7-10 years of experience, (preferably in the education or development sector, with at least 4 years of relevant managerial experience.)
2. Advanced degree in Education, Economics, Psychology or related field

Strong Expertise Required in:

1. Research methodology
2. Statistical analysis & psychometrics
3. Communication and presentation skills
4. Working with government systems preferred
