About the job Leadership Fellow

This is a one-year, full-time, field-based learning and contribution journey for young people who want to understand social change by working directly with communities.

The Fellow will be embedded within grassroots ecosystems and work alongside community partners, field teams, and internal stakeholders to support program implementation, learning, and engagement. This fellowship is designed for those who want to learn by living, grow by doing, and contribute meaningfully at the grassroots level.

Fellows will support the design and on-ground execution of community programs by working closely with grassroots organizations, field teams, and local stakeholders — while building practical understanding of how social impact initiatives are implemented and sustained.

Key Responsibilities 

The Fellow will:

  • Spend significant time in assigned field locations, engaging with community members, partners, and local leaders

  • Support day-to-day program activities at the grassroots level

  • Participate in community meetings, group discussions, and local events

  • Assist in planning and coordinating field-based initiatives

  • Observe and document community processes, challenges, and outcomes

  • Support basic data collection, reporting, and learning documentation

  • Share field insights with internal teams to strengthen program design

  • Contribute to awareness drives, community mobilization, and local engagement efforts

  • Take ownership of small field projects or program tasks

  • Participate in reflection sessions, reviews, and learning forums

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: 12th pass / Undergraduate / Graduate (any discipline)

  • Comfortable communicating in local/regional languages (preferred) 

  • Willingness to travel and stay in field locations for extended periods

  • Basic digital and documentation skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a field team

  • Prior volunteering, internships, or community exposure is a plus (not mandatory)

Fellowship Details

  • Duration: 1 year (full-time)

  • Locations: Banswara, Udaipur, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore & nearby tribal areas

  • Work Mode: Fellows must be willing to live and travel in rural and remote regions.

  • Compensation: Fellowship honorarium (details to be shared during the process)
