About the job Head of Communications and Partnerships
This is a mid-senior leadership role responsible for shaping and executing the organizations overall communications and marketing strategy to strengthen its visibility, brand positioning, and impact. The role will drive storytelling, digital engagement, strategic partnernships and brand strategy to help the organization achieve its mission.
Key Responsibilities
1. Communications & Marketing Strategy
- Partner with the leadership team to define communication goals and translate them into actionable strategies and plans.
- Design and implement marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and public engagement.
2. Strategic Partnerships & Media Relations
- Identify and foster collaborations that amplify the organizations reach and reputation.
- Lead public relations and media outreach to strengthen the brand narrative and visibility.
3. Content & Storytelling
- Oversee the creation of engaging, high-quality content across various channelssocial media, video, newsletters, blogs, and campaigns.
- Develop stories, case studies, and multimedia materials that capture the organizations impact and values.
4. Digital Marketing
- Drive digital marketing efforts through SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns to grow audience engagement and digital footprint.
- Analyze performance metrics to inform and refine digital outreach strategies.
5. Brand & Design Management
- Maintain and evolve the organizations brand identity, messaging, and visual assets for consistency across communications.
- Strengthen brand storytelling and ensure all materials align with the organizations mission and tone.
6. Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders including donors, partners, and beneficiaries.
- Build community engagement initiatives to foster advocacy and participation.
7. Campaign Leadership
- Plan, execute, and monitor integrated communication and marketing campaigns for events, initiatives, and fundraising.
- 
Track outcomes, evaluate performance, and iterate based on insights. 
8. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage communication operations and ensure smooth coordination with internal teams.
- Lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align communications with organizational priorities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant experience in communications, marketing, or branding roles experience in startups or social sector organizations preferred.
- Proven ability to design and implement strategic communication plans and digital campaigns.
- Strong understanding of marketing tools, analytics, and digital engagement platforms.
- 
Excellent storytelling, writing, and creative direction skills. 
- Strategic and data-driven mindset with the ability to measure and improve communication outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in managing teams and external partners.
- Genuine interest in social impact, education, and technology.
