(Title and scope calibrated to experience: 2–7 years)
Organisation
Climate Asia/ Arthan
Location
Delhi
Exposure
High-stakes leadership role with direct interface across Board, funders, senior partners, and ecosystem leaders
The Mandate
Climate Asia operates at the intersection of climate adaptation, gender, leadership, finance, and systems change. Our mission is to enable locally rooted organisations, solutions, and leaders to deliver climate solutions at scale.
Arthan is a social enterprise strengthening the social impact sector through human capital, organisational development, and thought leadership. To date, we have partnered with over 1,500 organisations, engaged a community of more than 500,000 jobseekers, and convened 100+ forums for sector leaders.
Both organisations are entering a phase of accelerated scale—across programs, funding, influence, and institutional depth. This role sits at the centre of that ambition. The Founder’s Office is being built as the execution spine across Climate Asia and Arthan: the place where strategy translates into irreversible momentum. This is not a support function. It is a strategy-to-execution role for someone who wants to build institutions, not manage tasks.
The role spans Climate Asia, Arthan, and affiliated initiatives and platforms. You will operate as a Founder-proxy, holding responsibility for pace, coherence, and judgment across the most critical organisational priorities.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Founder to ensure that each business unit and institutional platform delivers against its core goals—financial sustainability, impact outcomes, organisational strength, and ecosystem influence.
Act as a trusted Founder-proxy in high-stakes internal and external conversations, ensuring alignment, judgment, and continuity
Deliver flagship initiatives (accelerators, leadership platforms, delivery backbones) with credibility and scale them into repeatable, high-quality offerings
Move from program success to portfolio and ecosystem-level influence while maintaining a strong grip on goals, timelines, and quality across multiple parallel work streams and entities
Build a strong management layer that reduces founder-dependence in day-to-day delivery
Drive adoption of technology, systems, and data that enable scale and transparency
Support fundraising and capital strategy through pipeline management and execution follow-through
Hold discipline around decision-making, documentation, and follow-through to strengthen governance and institutional credibility
Surface risks early—strategic, operational, financial, or reputational—and enable timely, decisive course correction
Strengthen culture, performance discipline, and internal systems across 3 institutional entities while growing revenue
Core Areas the Founder’s Office Must Anchor:
Goals & Strategy: translating ambition into clear quarterly and monthly priorities
Delivery & Execution: ensuring initiatives, partnerships, and platforms land with quality
People & Culture: hiring, performance management, leadership development, and values
Fundraising & Capital: grant pipelines, funding strategy, early anchor relationships, and follow-through
Technology & Systems: tools that enable visibility, coordination, and scale
Governance & Risk: decision discipline, accountability, and long-term institutional credibility
Who This Role Is For:
This role is for someone who:
Thinks like a builder, not a manager
Thrives in complexity and responsibility
Wants to shape how institutions are built, not just what they deliver
Compensation:
Market-competitive and calibrated to experience (Manager / Lead / Associate)
Linked to clear outcome milestones as Climate Asia and Arthan scale in 2026
For the right candidate, this role offers meaningful upside, expanded mandate, and long-term leadership opportunity as new verticals and capital vehicles are built.
