The Role

As a Senior Associate, you will:
Advise on major infrastructure and energy projects, including renewables, transport, and utilities.
Lead project finance transactions, representing lenders, sponsors, and developers in cross-border deals.
Draft and negotiate complex project agreements, including EPC contracts, PPAs, concession agreements, and financing documentation.
Work closely with Japanese and international financial institutions, government entities, and multinational corporations.
Provide strategic legal insights on regulatory frameworks, risk management, and investment structures.
Support business development initiatives and mentor junior lawyers within the team.

What You Bring

6+ years of experience in Projects, Infrastructure, or Project Finance at a leading law firm.
Strong knowledge of project finance structures and industry best practices.
Fluency in English; business-level Japanese is a strong advantage.
Proven ability to handle complex, cross-border transactions with precision and commercial acumen.
Excellent client management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
