About the job Dialysis RN
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The Dialysis RN plays a critical role in the care of patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), delivering safe, high-quality dialysis treatment and promoting patient well-being. This position requires clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a deep commitment to patient education and support.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform pre-, intra-, and post-dialysis assessments and monitor patients throughout treatment.

Initiate and discontinue dialysis treatments safely and effectively using appropriate vascular access techniques (AV fistulas, grafts, catheters).

Administer medications as prescribed and manage fluid removal rates per patient condition and treatment plan.

Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, home care, dietary restrictions, and overall health management.

Monitor and respond to complications or emergencies during dialysis, such as hypotension or access malfunction.

Collaborate with physicians, nephrologists, dietitians, and other care team members to provide comprehensive patient care.

Document all nursing assessments, interventions, medications, and patient responses in the electronic health record (EHR).

Maintain dialysis equipment and ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.

Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
