Job Description:

We are looking to hire the services of a web developer specializing in Magento who will be responsible for developing and maintaining a dedicated e-commerce platform. The candidate should have a top notch PHP knowledge, Java Script language, and CSS skills. His duties will include not only coding the template, troubleshooting interface issues, testing website performance and updating security patches but he would also be meeting the design team while developing the Magento modules.

Roles and responsibilities:

1. Meeting with the design team to discuss the needs of the company.
2. Building and configuring Magento 1x and 2x ecommerce websites.
3. Coding of the Magento templates.
4. Developing Magento modules in PHP using best practices.
5. Designing themes and interfaces.
6. Setting performance tasks and goals.
7. Troubleshooting integration issues.
8. Updating website features and security patches.

Requirements:

1. Strong object-oriented programming knowledge.
2. Magento certification is definitely a plus.
3. Must have the ability to develop and customize Magento modules and extension development.
4. Demonstrable knowledge of API integration and payment gateways
5. Full understanding of the Magento themes and template systems.
6. Strong PHP, JavaScript, MYSQL, OOPS, and RDBMS concept.
7. Strong understanding of Performance Tuning, Browser Compatibility and Version Control.
8. Knowledge of optimization, caching, and scaling techniques
9. Experience with complete ecommerce lifecycle development.
10. Being Magento certified is an added advantage.
11. Optimize the code for better performance.
