Job Title: Land Access Advisor

Position Overview:

As a Land Access Advisor, you will be instrumental in securing land access agreements and cultivating relationships with landowners and stakeholders. This role encompasses negotiating terms, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, and providing vital support to project teams to achieve their objectives. To be successful in this role, the focus will be on showcasing your negotiation skills, experience with land access, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Land Negotiation:
    • Engage with landowners to negotiate land access agreements, ensuring alignment with project needs.
  2. Stakeholder Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with landowners, community representatives, and regulatory authorities.
  3. Regulatory Compliance:
    • Ensure all land access agreements comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  4. Documentation:
    • Prepare and review documentation related to land access, maintaining accurate records.
  5. Project Support:
    • Collaborate with project teams to align land access with project schedules and requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

Dispute Resolution: Address any issues or disputes that arise during land access negotiations.

Policy Development: Assist in developing policies and procedures related to land access and stakeholder management.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental science, Planning, Law, Social Sciences or Community Stakeholder related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in land access negotiation, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Strong understanding of land access agreements, regulatory requirements, and negotiation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
