About Us:

We have ongoing requirements for workplace investigation specialists to support our clients' human resources teams in Australia to conduct workplace investigations in public and private organisations, including ASX-listed companies and government departments. We are seeking expressions of interest to join our team on a consulting basis and to work throughout Australia on a hybrid basis to respond to client needs.


EOI: Broad Requirements Overview:

We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced independent contractors to join our team as Workplace Investigators. Ideal candidates will be dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and staying at the forefront of industry-leading practices. Our approach integrates trauma-informed and culturally responsive methods, ensuring respectful and effective processes. Youll need extensive Australian HR experience and senior-level capabilities in managing complex allegations of employee misconduct. As a Workplace Investigator, you will play a critical role in delivering legally sound findings and contributing to the improvement of workplace cultures.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Investigations: Perform thorough and sensitive investigations into complex allegations of employee misconduct, ensuring findings are legally sound and defensible.
  • Culture Reviews: Identify and address poor workplace behaviours and ineffective processes through comprehensive culture reviews of organisations, divisions, or teams.
  • Evaluation: Assess and evaluate workplace investigations and their procedures to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Support and Advisory: Provide tailored training, coaching and advisory services to support internal investigation teams in enhancing their capabilities and processes.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • HR Expertise: Extensive experience in Australian HR practices, with a strong understanding of workplace laws and regulations.
  • Investigation Skills: Proven track record in conducting complex workplace investigations and delivering legally sound findings.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical skills to identify and address workplace issues effectively.
  • Good Judgement: Demonstrated maturity and a seasoned approached to workplace conflict and providing a well-rounded report to outline findings and recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings clearly and professionally.
  • Professional Conduct: Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professional conduct, including trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices.
