Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions. In this role, you will define technical architecture across projects, guide engineering execution, and ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory standards. Youll play a key role in shaping the technical vision of the platform as we expand our impact across government and regulated industries.


Technical Stack

  • Database: SQL Server on Azure Cloud, Azure Table Storage
  • Backend: .NET Core
  • DevOps: Azure Pipelines
  • Cloud: Azure

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Design system and service-level architecture that aligns with industry best practices and internal standards.
  • Define and document reusable architecture patterns, integration models, and design principles.
  • Guide development teams on the implementation of services, APIs, and data pipelines within a microservices architecture.
  • Ensure solutions adhere to required compliance, data privacy, and security standards.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps teams to deliver on business and technical objectives.
  • Lead technical design reviews and provide mentorship across engineering teams.
    

Skills and Experience

  • 8+ years of software engineering or architecture experience with a focus on distributed systems and enterprise applications.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Azure AD, and related technologies.
  • Strong foundation in cloud security, data compliance, and system integration best practices.
  • Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical ideas into actionable plans.
  • Experience leading architecture decisions for complex or multi-system environments.
    

Preferred Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder (preferred for government-related work)
  • Familiarity with modern DevOps practices, observability tools, and cost optimization strategies
  • Experience working with remote, distributed teams
