Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior React Native Engineer who wants to work in a fast-paced, agile startup to build and enhance our mobile applications. At AssetIntel, we believe that every developer is responsible for code ownership.

As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will work as a senior individual contributor on our production iOS and Android applications. You will use React Native and Expo to deliver reliable, high-quality mobile experiences and collaborate closely with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders in India and the US.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Tackle complex mobile-development challenges daily.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain excellent user experiences for iOS and Android using React Native and Expo.
• Take ownership of features from technical design through implementation, testing, release, and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure our codebase is scalable, maintainable, performant, and easily readable.
• Work with product and design teams to translate requirements into high-quality mobile experiences.
• Balance technical debt management with business requirements.
• Break down complex problems into smaller, modular solutions.
• Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering standards across our mobile applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional software-engineering experience. Applications with less than 6 years of experience will not be considered.
• 4+ years of professional experience developing production applications with React Native.
• Strong professional experience with Expo and the React Native ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience building, shipping, and maintaining applications for both iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of mobile application performance, debugging, testing, error handling, and release processes.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and building reliable, user-friendly mobile experiences.
• Strong expertise in data structures and algorithms.
• Strong React web-development experience is highly preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
• Work closely with teams in both India and the US.
