About the role mission

The Global Capex Manager is responsible for investigation and execution of Investment projects within global Supply Chain, for internal production (90%) or at external manufacturer’s facilities (10%).

She/he is in charge of global capex process administration by coordinating activities with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

·          Identify investment requirements and opportunities.

·          Analyzes and selects the best technical and manufacturing process solution for company needs.

·          Find the best price for required functionality and/or service available on the market.

·          Collaborates with Business Development, R&D and Quality on New Product Development, productivity and capex projects

·          Collaborates with Operation on production start-ups linked with executed CAPEX projects.

·          Plans and ensures execution of Capex projects deliverables within agreed-upon timing and budget.

·          Conducts regular project team meetings. Regularly presents project status, and elevates issues to management when necessary.

·          Manage CAPEX process administration such as AR approval, budgeting and monthly forecasting. 

Qualifications

·          Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience.

·          Manufacturing and/or Engineering experience.

·          Excellent project management, follow-through and planning skills for self and team.

·          Good negotiation skills.

·          Open-minded with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solving.

·          Handling complexity and managing details.

·          Someone who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment, not afraid to “roll up sleeves”.

·          Driven with a sense of urgency.

·          Self-motivated and results driven.

·          Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel particularly and Microsoft Office applications in general (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

·          Czech native with fluency in English.

 Education

·          Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Engineering or related field.
