The mission

The Brand Manager SEA will promote our client globally recognised brand and flawlessly execute high-impact content to engage, educate and inspire their diverse audience and drive leads.

Responsibilities

·          Brand Management

o    Work with the MD and commercial team to define the positioning of our client brand in South East Asia.

o    Take brand ownership and provide the brand story and strategies to drive customer engagement and ensure all internal stakeholders act as Brand Ambassadors.

o    Translate brand strategies into brand plans and go-to-market strategies that will further the brands reputation and image in the market.

o    Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues.

·          Creativeness

o    Bring new ideas for branding, campaigns, and marketing messages.

o    Understand design and be able to develop excellent creative work across print, video and digital using the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat, Premiere Pro or After Effects, InDesign, and Illustrator).

o    Lead creative development and create motivating stimulus and calls-to-action. Write detailed technical/sales copy, execute photo/video shoots, storyboard ideas and mock-up web designs.

o    Set up and maintain our client’s New website.

·          Campaigns

o    Create a library of compelling multi-media content for each product that will generate interest in the subject/product/brand and establish our expertise and thought leadership.

o    Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).

o    Execute on the campaign calendar utilising landing pages, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, WhatsApp, Line, websites etc. to deliver content that will generate, qualify and nurture leads for the sales team to engage and close. 

·          New Product Development

o    Work with Sales, Operations and Engineering teams to develop new product ideas, launch strategies, product life-cycle management and drive the profitability of your brand portfolio.

o    Generate stories based on well thought out positioning strategies.

·          Leadership

o    Proactive to inspire and move cross-functional groups, leading the business in a unified direction and with a common vision.

·          Exhibitions, Conferences & Events

o    Leading the organization, coordination and participation in exhibitions, conferences and events and represent our client’s Brand at its best.

Outcomes

The overall outcome is the successful implementation of brand and product plans, and the subsequent development of marketing efforts that directly increase the value and performance of our client’s portfolio.

·          Brand Management

o    Develop creative and strategic brand plans and activities within 4 months.

§   Define the positioning.

§   Establish and own the tone of voice.

§   Develop the narrative and audience connection (internal and external).

·          Web Development

o    Ongoing updates and maintenance of the company website.

·          Lead Generation

o    Together with the MD and Commercial team, develop and implement a detailed content marketing strategy for the product/brand portfolio within 2 months that will drive inbound leads.

o    Ensure there are weekly Facebook & LinkedIn posts, ongoing SEO and PPC advertising programmes to generate qualified inbound leads.

§   Success will be measured on traffic-to-lead ratio, cost per lead, inbound ROI, organic traffic, average position and conversion rates.

o    Work with MD and commercial team and your own business analysis skills to create outbound opportunities including eDMs, phone scripting, banner ads, press releases (i.e. around product launches) and targeted trade shows that will generate outbound sales enquiries.

§   Success will be measured against impressions, cost per impression, click-through rates, quality scores, conversion rates and cost per conversion.

·          Content Creation

o    Use our client’s content bank to develop a content bank for the Southeast Asia BU within 12 months including:

§   White papers, best practice guides, video content, presentations and editorials/advertorials.

§   Create all collateral including datasheets, brochures and presentations.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years Branding/Marketing experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Branding.
  • Direct experience in the Advertising, Marketing or Design industries. Agency experience is preferred.
  • Must have strong design and layout skills with high proficiency in the Adobe Suite as well as Video editing capabilities.
  • Be confident in Web development, Web design and the use of digital in-bound marketing tools.
  • Proven commercial success through brand management activations.
  • Ability to execute lead generation campaigns from conceptualisation to analysis and optimisation.
  • Experienced in writing and editing technical sales copy.
  • Demonstrated capability to collaborate in cross functional and cross geographical team.
  • Thai native with fluency in English (both orally and written).
